Womxn Life Freedom

illustration of three Iranian women; their hair spells out Womxn Life Freedom in green, white and red.

I created this downloadable graphic in solidarity with the young womxn of Iran protesting for freedom, bodily autonomy, human rights, and regime change in the revolution catalyzed by the death of #MahsaAmini.

The woman depicted at the top is Mahsa (Jina) Amini, who died under suspicious circumstances in police custody after being arrested for not covering her hair. I also wanted to represent young womxn’s revolutionary rage and joy.
